Third Eye Electronic Goals
Goal: Re-education of the African mind through art.
How we plan to achieve it:
Using art for example: music, paintings, sculptures, theater and the likes, this gives us a platform outside the classroom and colonial system to educate people on knowledge that serves them as individuals and reminds of who they truly are and their rightful position in the world.
Goal: Initiate unity amongst African countries through art.
How we plan to achieve it:
Linguistics, collaboration, intermarriage and general sharing of culture all take place through travelling, working together on art-based projects and sharing a common Pan-African goal of development and building our society through our space which is art, take for example what it takes to make a musical project with African artists belonging to different corners of the continent, take for example film and theatre whereby you learn by observation of a different culture.
Goal: Display and export native African art and entertainment across the world.
How we plan to achieve it:
Using art for example: music, paintings, sculptures, theater and the likes, this gives us a platform outside the classroom and colonial system to educate people on knowledge that serves them as individuals and reminds of who they truly are and their rightful position in the world.
Goal: Legitimize art and entertainment as a stronghold in the pieces that weave society as a collective.
How we plan to achieve it:
Through Education, the importance and the role that art plays in society will begin to become known, and people will realize just how fundamental and important art is and all the areas it influences for a society to function successfully , especially for African societies.
Goal: Create jobs and work opportunities for young talented Africans, tackling unemployment amongst youth.
How we plan to achieve it:
Through the work we will be doing, there will be opportunities for youth to make a living out of their talents and gifts, and even for those who are not artists, the youth will have a place to exert their brilliance and energy and make a living while at it.
Goal: Create awareness of the importance of native culture and in strongly finding and claiming our almost-fading identity as Africans.
How we plan to achieve it:
In the Modern day, as African culture fades away to European and Western colonialism without education, the generations to come will lose their identity, their heritage, and what makes them who they are, therefore having lost every essence of their being.
Goal: Intensify efforts of tourism through the display of art, culture, entertainment, and history, boosting our economic sector as a continent.
How we plan to achieve it:
Through art display, performances, and putting our art culture out for the world to see, this will spark curiosity amongst the international community, generating tourism, reclamation, resurgence, and rightful respect for our contribution to the modern global system today.
Goal: Initiate critical thinking and deeper thought amongst youth through artistic education.
How we plan to achieve it:
Deep and critical thinking stem from education. It triggers the mind to find solutions, ask questions, and be actively involved in society.
Goal: Preserve our customs and way of life in honor of our ancestorial background.
How we plan to achieve it:
Through music, poems, film, writings, sculpture work, paintings, drawings, and the like, culture is preserved for generations to come to ensure we don’t lose who we are as Africans and our identity.
Goal: Create immersive, enjoyable, experiences for people as they go through their daily lives by starting a spark of unwinding freedom, remembrance of our roots, community, and most importantly a euphoric energy through our events that carries on into people’s daily lives.
How we plan to achieve it:
By giving our all in whatever we are doing as artists we create a trance like experience for the receiver full of euphoric bliss, happiness and reflection which is the main point at the end of the day. After that experience you have gained knowledge invoking critical thinking and you would have had a wonderful time in communion with others like you.
Goal: Reclaiming all that belonged to us before the coming of different peoples to our land, in terms of our way of life.
How we plan to achieve it:
The plan of action to tackle point number eleven is summarized by all the above, consisting of the first to the tenth point.
